Trail's End Resort and Marina's COVE features Harbor Homes houseboats are custom designed by each owner, and many owners rent out their houseboats when they are not using them. In fact, an owner can recoup their entire costs by having their houseboat for rent. Our onsite staff will take care of the checkin and checkout, clean up, and collections for their houseboat. Combine the rental income with the tax deduction you can take on your houseboat as a second home and you can easily offset the entire payment every year.
Our mooring slips at the COVE include the electric, water, sewer, phone, cable television and WIFI internet access. And the spectacular sunsets every night are free for the viewing. Gather along the docks with your loved ones to watch the sun silently slip over the horizon along the riverbank. You will feel a cool breeze as the river begins to release the heat it gathered during the day. And another star filled night appears. Because Trail's End Resort and Marina is located adjacent to a wildlife preserve, there are no stray lights to obstruct your views of the night sky.
Whether you are a stargazer, or just love to sit out on your deck and play cards by moonlight, sip your drinks and enjoy the peace of the COVE. Your family will love heir private vacation spot where there's no one to bother you.
Trail's End has a limited number of mooring slips and once they are filled no additional slips can be constructed. The resort itself will have a number of cabins and RV sites, but will not expand beyond the 70-acres currently under development.
In addition to the COVE and rental cabins, rental houseboats, rental RV park, the campsites, campground and other rentals like the pontoon boats, Trail's End Resort and Marina has one of the best restaurants in our region of the state of Georgia. Pop's Dockside Grill and Raw Bar has full menus with varying hours depending on the season. They are known for their rotating Sunday buffet, with a different traditional Southern menu every week.
