Using our on-site rental management system, you can quickly recover the full monthly cost by renting out your houseboat on days/weekends or holidays that you cannot be at the property. You may actually profit from your investment. 3. This is THE most affordable type of waterfront living/recreation available. If you price riverside or lakeside property, the cost of the land and improvements alone would exceed our offer. That is exclusive of building a home or obtaining financing to do so. 4. Owning a luxury houseboat also precludes the payment of property tax, since you are classified as a boat owner, not a landowner. So the total cost annually is far less than having a cabin somewhere, waterfront or not. 5. The Trail's End Resort and Marina provides the property maintenance, so there is no need to pay contractors to keep the weeds and grass mowed or the parking in good repair.
